Overview:
These are replicas of a gargoyle which was salvaged from a building in New York. I recreated the original and sculpted a new one in mirror-image. The original design was modified not only to improve it’s appearance but also, and perhaps more importantly, to make it easier to release from the mold – but I maintained the overall flow and feel of the original.
These are cast in concrete, weigh about 120 pounds and measure 27 x 12 x 14 inches – length, width, height.
